We were late setting off and were surprised to be in an open sided bus for an after dark trip in the autumn, it was a bit chilly! It took about 40 mins to get there and we were given 45mins of free time before coming back which was ok for taking photos inside and out but if you want to tour the observatory properly then it’s not long enough. We thought it was worth it for the views of LA at night”
